AVCon is Adelaide’s biggest Japanese Animation and Video Gaming convention. With over 18,000 people in attendance, it is truly a fun and amazing place to be for those of us that are passionate about Anime and Video Games. Avcon is a non-forprofit event and is completely organise and run by volunteers. It is always great to see what passionate people can achieve, AVCon truly is a convention of passion.
The event is filled with amazing cosplay, video game tournaments, anime screenings and panels with guest and community groups. This year they had 7 guests with voice actors like Spike Spencer and Cosplayers like Vera Chimera and Beke Cosplay.
We had a blast with exploring the many stalls playing the games attending a couple of the panels and speaking with the cosplayers. Our particular favourite area was the indy section as it is always a pleasure to see the great games that is being developed. Overall we had fun and our time at AVCon was AMAZING!
So if you are ever in Adelaide when AVCon is on you deffinately do not want to miss it.
