Pearl Abyss is excited to announce that the newest expansion to their MMORPG Black Desert Online, titled “Eternal Winter” is now live on PC!
The Eternal Winter expansion brings a snowy new region called the Mountain to Eternal Winter, a new melee player class Drakania and an extensive new questline that will see players uncovering a dark mystery hidden inside the mountain. The expansion is completely free to play for all players who currently own the base game!
Alongside new content, the Eternal Winter is also releasing an overhauled starting experience for players looking to enter the game for the first time, as well as a week-long promotion where players can download the base game (also known as the Traveler Edition) for free.
The biggest expansion yet for Pearl Abyss’ flagship MMORPG introduces a new region, player class, and storyline and is available to play for free for all players who own the base game.
The Eternal Winter expansion introduces a new region called the Mountain of Eternal Winter, where players will venture into unknown lands to unravel a dark mystery. Throughout their journey, adventurers will get to meet new allies and old rivals, explore brand-new hunting grounds and embark on a host of activities including new boss fights, endgame locations, and ice fishing. Players can now jump into the new region with their favorite character or Drakania, a brand new player class that wields a massive sword named Slayer and strikes fear into the hearts of her enemies.
To celebrate the launch of the new expansion, Pearl Abyss will be offering a complimentary Traveler Edition upgrade for free which will grant players access to Black Desert Online as well as the Eternal Winter expansion via the game’s official website and Steam. The offer will be available between April 6th and April 13th. Players who join the game can also start playing on a new season server, which is specifically designed to help progress character growth faster. Here, adventurers will receive various in-game rewards and buffs that will allow them to catch up and experience the latest content as fast as possible.
