C-Smash VRS: Try the Playable Demo Now, New Gameplay Preview

RapidEyeMovers and VR pioneers Wolf & Wood have announced exciting news for fans of their upcoming game C-Smash VRS, including the release of a new gameplay trailer, pre-orders opening, and the availability of the first playable demo. Additionally, the game’s official release date has been revealed as June 23rd, 2023.

The playable demo offers a sneak peek at the game’s unique features, including a tutorial, Training mode, and online Versus mode, allowing players to compete against each other from different locations. C-Smash VRS is an immersive, full-body experience set in the far reaches of space and time, combining the best elements of racket sports and action puzzle gameplay. Players can use all walls and perform intense shots and trick smashes, while enjoying stunning visuals and pulsating beats from dynamic, entrancing music.

The game features intuitive controls, finger detection, 3D audio, and haptics that enable players to quickly learn the basics and become fully immersed in the game. Moreover, the full game will include original dynamic tracks by DJ Ken Ishii and synth master Danalogue, who bring a pulse to the game’s striking environments and the players’ bodies, making C-Smash VRS a new form of synaesthesia.

C-Smash VRS is produced and published by RapidEyeMovers and developed by Wolf & Wood, and marks the second collaboration between director Jörg Tittel and Wolf & Wood. Their first game, The Last Worker, which was selected for the 78th Venice Film Festival, is also nearing release on VR, consoles, and PC.
