The Crash Team Rumble Closed Beta is scheduled to begin tomorrow, April 20th, and run through April 24th. Fans who pre-order the game for Xbox or PlayStation consoles will gain exclusive access to the beta period starting at 10 am PT. This unique gaming experience brings together iconic heroes and villains from the Crash universe in a 4v4 team-based arena rumble.
The Closed Beta for Crash Team Rumble will feature five fan-favorite characters, three distinct action-packed arenas with strategic advantages, and a variety of challenging modes to test players’ skills. The game itself is a blend of multiple genres, such as platformers, action games, sports, and fighting. Players will control characters from the Crash universe, each with individual powers, movesets, and abilities.
To download the Closed Beta, follow these steps based on your platform:
For Xbox:
Go to the Store on the Xbox dashboard.
Search for Crash Team Rumble.
Find and highlight the Closed Beta.
Select “Get.”
Once the Closed Beta has downloaded, it will unlock and become playable.
For PlayStation:
Go to Library on the PlayStation dashboard.
Highlight “Crash Team Rumble – Closed Beta.”
Select “Download.”
Once the Closed Beta has downloaded, it will unlock and become playable.
Players who pre-order a digital copy of Crash Team Rumble after the Closed Beta has begun will be prompted to download the Closed Beta during checkout. All digital pre-orders will include access to the Closed Beta as long as it is live.
The Closed Beta is set to run from April 20th, 2023, until April 24th, 2023. Please note that actual platform availability and beta dates are subject to change. A minimum beta duration of two days is guaranteed. An Activision account and internet connection are required for participation, and an online multiplayer subscription may be necessary.
It is important to note that experience and progression from the Crash Team Rumble Closed Beta will not carry over when the full game officially launches. Players will have the opportunity to enjoy the Closed Beta as a separate gaming experience.
