Curve Games and IronOak Games have announced a closed beta for For The King II, the highly-anticipated sequel to the successful multi-platform franchise. The beta will be available to play on Steam from May 10th to May 16th, and players can provide feedback on the next adventure in the franchise. Inspired by tabletop adventures, For The King II builds on the hugely popular and successful original game’s challenging blend of strategy, turn-based combat, and roguelike elements to create an epic new experience that includes the most requested fan feature by far: four-player co-op!

For The King II will have five playable adventures and offer both singleplayer and multiplayer gameplay. The game features six character classes, including the Blacksmith, Scholar, Hunter, Stableboy, Herbalist, and Alchemist, each with their own unique strengths and weaknesses to explore. More character classes will be available in the final release.

Sterling Anderson, Studio Director at IronOak Games, said, “With For the King II, we want to involve our community as much as we can. This Closed Beta will help us understand how the game performs live with all of the variables that come with the real world player experience. We are expecting to uncover bugs and stability issues as well as receive valuable player feedback to allow us to polish and buff the game. We can’t wait to hear what the community thinks about For The King II.”

For The King II is scheduled for release on Steam in 2023. The closed beta will help developers to receive feedback on the game’s performance and to polish and buff the game. Players who participate in the closed beta can expect an epic new experience that offers both singleplayer and multiplayer gameplay, character classes with their own unique strengths and weaknesses to explore, and challenging gameplay mechanics that blend strategy, turn-based combat, and roguelike elements.

In conclusion, For The King II’s closed beta is an excellent opportunity for players to provide feedback on the highly-anticipated sequel to the successful multi-platform franchise.
