Exclusive Features in Phantom Liberty
The Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 will introduce the Relic skill tree, allowing players to venture into new playstyles and craft unique builds. The expansion also presents Dogtown, a bustling new locale filled with dynamic events, gigs, fresh clothing, weapons, cyberware, and more.
Gameplay Overhauls and Redesigned Perks System
Alongside the expansion, the “New Ways to Play” trailer showcased a redesigned perks system. This brings more thrilling gameplay options, permitting players to defeat foes in innovative ways. Enemy AI in combat is receiving a revamp as well, guaranteeing more exciting and intuitive engagements.
New Police System and Vehicle Combat
The trailer further revealed major overhauls in the police system with more responsive NCPD AI. The officers will now react to player actions in a more believable manner, such as setting up roadblocks or attempting to ram players. Night City’s roads are set to get more intense with the inclusion of vehicle combat, allowing players to shoot and quickhack enemy vehicles from cars and bikes.
Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0: Availability Details
The overhauled skill trees, improved police system, and engaging vehicle combat will all be part of the free Update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077. This update will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Phantom Liberty Release Date
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is slated to release on September 26th for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Players will step into the shoes of V, a cyber-enhanced mercenary, as they delve into a world of espionage and political intrigue. This expansion will feature the character Solomon Reed, portrayed by Idris Elba, who adds another layer of intrigue to the Cyberpunk universe.
