Dimensional Ink Games has announced the release of Episode 45: Shock to the System for DC Universe Online (DCUO), a popular free-to-play MMO licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of DC. The latest episode is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and will be released later this month on Nintendo Switch. Like all DCUO episodes, Episode 45 is available for free to all players.
In Shock to the System, the storyline takes players to Dakota City, the heart of the Milestone universe, where they must investigate the mysterious disappearances of heroes and villains. The city’s Big Bang attack, which created new heroes, villains, and victims, has drawn the attention of sinister, otherworldly forces, including Ebon and Apokoliptian Parademons. Players are contacted by Static to uncover the reasons behind the disappearances and the sudden interest of Apokolips in Dakota City while facing the shadowy threat.
