Thunderful, Headup, and Team Meat have released a demo for Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine, the upcoming match-4 puzzle game set in the Super Meat Boy universe. The demo is available on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. To celebrate the demo release, Super Meat Boy and Super Meat Boy Forever are also on sale on Steam.
Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2023. The game combines match-4 puzzle mechanics with the hardcore action gameplay for which Super Meat Boy is known, featuring buzzsaws, missiles, and other lethal hazards crafted by Dr. Fetus.
Players can puzzle their way through familiar Super Meat Boy and Super Meat Boy Forever locations, including the forest, the hospital, and the salt factory, all featuring stunning backgrounds and animations created by the original Super Meat Boy and Super Meat Boy Forever artists. The game also includes a captivating soundtrack by RIDICULON.
Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine offers over 100 hand-crafted levels filled with creative traps and hazards to overcome. For those who can withstand this challenging take on a classic formula, each world culminates in a gruesome boss fight as the ultimate test of skill.
