Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Levels Up with Mega Free Update Across All Platforms

Bandai Namco Rolls Out Festival of Universes, New Game Modes, and Free DLC Trials

Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. just dropped a massive update for DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 that’s got the fandom powered up. Available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, this update is loaded with goodies. From the Festival of Universes event to new gameplay modes, free DLC trials, and more, this update takes the game to Super Saiyan levels.

Power Up at the Festival of Universes

This isn’t your run-of-the-mill festival. The Festival of Universes has players choosing sides among three universes. The goal? Rack up points and snag glory by tackling various tasks, with the winning team pocketing some extra loot.

Introducing Cross Versus Mode

The new Cross Versus Mode is a 3v3 battle royale where teams are not just beating down enemies but also scavenging for experience boosts and power-ups. After accumulating enough points, a boss arena unlocks. While each team faces its own boss, you can send one player to crash the other team’s battle. It’s a race against the clock to either defeat the boss or top the scoreboard.

Log-in Loot and Free DLC Trials: Limited Time Offer

From October 12 to 19, Bandai Namco is showering players with log-in bonuses. That’s not all. During this period, gamers can also get hands-on with several DLC characters for free, provided they own the base game. The lineup includes Frost, Cabba, God of Destruction Champa, and many more.

Unlock Your Inner Ultra Instinct

If you thought DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 had reached its peak, think again. With the addition of the Awoken Skill Ultra Instinct ability, players can now unleash their true potential. Plus, the Avatar level cap has been obliterated, and several quality-of-life updates are in place.

Roadmap Reveals Future Awesomeness

Don’t think this is a one-time gig. Bandai Namco has sketched out a roadmap extending through 2024, featuring additional scenarios, new characters, and even more content. On top of that, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S editions are on the horizon, slated for a 2024 launch.

Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows
