GIANTS Software Makes Grand Appearance with Real Tractor
Gamescom gets a taste of real farming as publisher and developer GIANTS Software brings a real John Deere tractor along with content galore to cover 500 m² of space.
Early Preview and Hands-On Experience
From August 23rd to 27th, gamers and virtual farmers will get the opportunity to experience Farming Simulator 22: Premium Edition. For the first time ever, it will be publicly available for play. The Premium Edition, including all packs and expansions of Year 1 & 2 Season Passes, extends an invitation to newcomers eager to embark on a virtual farming adventure.
What’s New for Existing Fans?
Veteran fans of the game can expect brand-new crops, brands, machines, and more from the Premium Expansion, available both with the Edition and separately. The content-packed Premium Edition will release on November 14th for PC and consoles, with a new gameplay trailer showcasing the features.
John Deere Tractor and Exciting Challenges
GIANTS Software’s booth in hall 6 offers a gaming experience for all. Gaming stations run Farming Simulator 22 and the mobile version, Farming Simulator 23. Attendees can enjoy informative presentations, compete in the Bale Stacking Challenge, and finalists can battle on stage for enticing rewards.
A real and impressively large John Deere 8R tractor will be a highlight, demonstrating Farming Simulator’s collaboration with the renowned manufacturer. Competitive gaming also finds a place with the Farming Simulator League, where a professional tournament promises a slice of the €200,000 prize pool over the weekend.
Availability and Release Information
Farming Simulator 22 is available for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Premium Edition, coming with two expansions and seven packs, will launch on November 14th for the same platforms.
