The two-month countdown to the 3rd annual Play NYC has begun and Playcrafting revealed today the first 26 exhibitors from studios big and small that will show off their games at the largest, two-day game convention this August 10th and 11th at Metropolitan Pavilion (125 W 18th Street).
“Last year we wanted to bring in more developers than ever before,” says Dan Butchko, Founder & CEO of Playcrafting, the convention organizer. “For 2019, we’re doubling down, making sure we have an even more diverse mix of games and studios that showcase the true essence and impact of the U.S. gaming community. We’re excited to share others who will join this awesome line-up in the weeks ahead.”
Play NYC is the only place that brings all that the NYC gaming community has to offer together in one place. Fans can expect to experience launches and reveals from big name studios and brands like Decoy Games’ Swimsanity!, Zero Eden Games and Bose AR, as well as the latest from up-and-coming studios, such as snowhydra and WhaleFood Games.

The 2019 convention will also feature the exclusive, traveling Bose AR-cade, unveiling the latest set of heads up, hands free audio AR games created by New York-based developers using the Bose AR platform. In addition, Bose will partner with Playcrafting to create an exclusive “city-block experience” powered by the Bose AR platform that lets fans experience NYC like never before.
