Arc System Works has announced the addition of the latest playable DLC character, “Bedman?”, to Season 2 of Guilty Gear -Strive-. The character is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Steam, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows platforms. Players can access “Bedman?” either by purchasing the character as a standalone DLC for $6.99 or by acquiring Season Pass 2 for $24.99.
“Bedman?” is an error-prone guardian machine with a range of automated techniques and a disregard for its own destruction. The character first appeared as a playable fighter in Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- and used a machine bed to execute technical tricks that confused opponents while looking for opportunities to land powerful hits. Following Bedman’s death, his bed now operates independently in Guilty Gear -Strive- through a program, he implemented in his final moments. With Bedman’s sister Delilah reawakened and entering the real world via Bedman’s Absolute World, she retrieves her brother’s bed, which now serves as her protector.
The addition of “Bedman?” (with Delilah) brings the total number of playable characters in Guilty Gear -Strive- to 23, with “Bedman?” being the 8th playable DLC character in the game.
Additionally, today marks the release of the DLC “Fairy’s Forest Factory,” a brand-new playable battle stage available for individual purchase at $1.99 or as part of Season Pass 2. Set in a magical forest canopy inhabited by industrious fairies with a talent for medicine, the “Fairy’s Forest Factory” stage features vibrant, colorful fungi that provide nourishing resources. The stage’s inhabitants earn their livelihood by exporting these valuable commodities to the outside world.
