Last night, the Italian games industry came together to honor and celebrate the winners of the Italian Video Game Awards (IVGA) 2023. The awards ceremony took place during the prestigious First Playable conference, Italy’s premier B2B video game industry event, and was streamed internationally by VGC, the media partner for the event.

In the games categories, several exceptional titles were acknowledged for their achievements. Venice 2099, a remarkable debut from Safe Place Studio, secured the coveted Best Italian Debut award. Santa Ragione’s Saturnalia received the distinction for Best Innovation, highlighting the game’s unique and groundbreaking elements. BitNine Studio’s surprise hit tERRORbane was honored as the Best Italian Game, reflecting its popularity and success among players.
Acknowledging Exceptional Individuals and Companies
The IVGA 2023 also recognized remarkable individuals who have made significant contributions to the Italian games industry. Cristina Nava was awarded the Outstanding Individual Contribution prize for her exceptional work and impact in the field.
