Starting July 13, Trainers visiting participating Target stores across North America will be able to grab one of two Legendary Pokémon—Thundurus or Tornadus—via a code and add them to their Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokémon Sun, or Pokémon Moon game.
Thundurus will be available to Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Sun players and distributed with the following characteristics:
- Pokémon Ultra Sun
- Level: 100
- Ability: Prankster
- Held Item: Gold Bottle Cap
- Moves: Thunderbolt, Focus Blast, Grass Knot, Nasty Plot
- Pokémon Sun
- Level: 60
- Ability: Prankster
- Moves: Discharge, Crunch, Charge, Nasty Plot
Tornadus will be available for Pokémon Ultra Moon or Pokémon Moon players and distributed with the following characteristics:
- Pokémon Ultra Moon
- Level: 100
- Ability: Prankster
- Held Item: Gold Bottle Cap
- Moves: Hurricane, Heat Wave, Grass Knot, Tailwind
- Pokémon Moon
- Level: 60
- Ability: Prankster
- Moves: Air Slash, Crunch, Tailwind, Rain Dance
How to claim Thundurus or Tornadus:
1. Open your Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun, or Pokémon Ultra Moon game.
2. Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
3. Select Receive Gift.
4. Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, then Yes again to connect to the internet.
Enter your code.
6. Watch as the Legendary Pokémon arrives in your game.
7. Speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to receive your Legendary Pokémon.
8. Be sure to save your game.
