New in the game are Champion & Legendary Pokémon sync pairs: Red & Articuno, Leaf & Moltres, and Blue & Zapdos. Each duo comes loaded with Master passive skills to buff your entire team, making them a must-have in any roster.

Introducing a game-changing feature, the EX Role, these legendary sync pairs offer immediate stat boosts to players. Upgrading any of these new pairs to 6★ EX enables them to unleash potent sync moves, adding a new layer of strategy to your battles.
In-depth Look into Kanto Sync Pairs
- Red (Champion) & Articuno: This Ice-type pair rocks the Kanto Spirit master passive skill, amping up the Sp. Atk of allied sync pairs and reducing incoming Sp. Atk damage. The special move Frozen Wings Ice Beam can freeze opponents and nullify any damage-reducing or critical hit-protecting skills they might have.
- Availability: Red Master Fair Scout, now until October 6th, 10:59 p.m. PT.
- Leaf (Champion) & Moltres: A Fire-type pair featuring the Kanto Pride master passive skill, which boosts physical attacks of allied sync pairs while reducing physical damage taken. The Fiery Wings Flare Blitz move brings sunny weather to the field and may leave the target burned.
- Availability: Leaf Master Fair Scout, August 29th, 11:00 p.m. PT to October 6th, 10:59 p.m. PT.
- Blue (Champion) & Zapdos: An Electric-type pair that can deploy Thundering Wings Roost, restoring about 30% of the team’s HP.
- Availability: Blue Master Fair Scout, August 31st, 11:00 p.m. PT to October 6th, 10:59 p.m. PT.
