Meridiem Games has partnered with publisher Destructive Creation to release a special boxed Cult Edition of the first-person horror game Shame Legacy for PlayStation 5, slated for launch in June. Developed by Fairyship Games and Revenant Games, Shame Legacy immerses players in a chilling adventure set in a cult-infested village.
Meridiem Games will design, manufacture, and distribute the Shame Legacy: The Cult Edition boxed set, which will be available in specialist stores across Europe this summer. This special edition includes a uniquely designed case and a metal postcard.
Shame Legacy is a first-person survival horror game set in a forsaken 19th-century cultist village. Players must rely on stealth and escape mechanics to survive, solving puzzles and discovering their connection to the mysterious circumstances they find themselves in. As they navigate this eerie environment, a sinister threat draws ever closer.
Upon waking up disoriented in what seems like a 19th-century anger management convention, players quickly realize they are being hunted. In order to survive and unravel the mystery, they must avoid contact with the villagers searching for them. Detection may not be the end, provided players can maintain their composure and act swiftly.
In Shame Legacy, players will need to use their mental abilities and problem-solving skills to progress through the game. The player character’s cane serves as both a defensive weapon against attacking villagers and a tool for solving puzzles.
Shame Legacy: The Cult Edition will be available as a special boxed version for PlayStation 5 in June.
