Publisher Microids revealed the first trailer for Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express, ahead of Gamescom. Set for release on October 19th 2023 for platforms including PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, the game introduces a modernized take on one of Agatha Christie’s most celebrated mysteries.

Taking place in 2023, this game adaptation adds new twists to the original story, promising surprises for both new players and devoted fans of Christie’s work. Gamers will control both the renowned detective Hercule Poirot and a new character, Joanna Locke, unraveling the secrets behind a murder aboard the famous train.
The development is led by Microids Studio Lyon, with the artistic direction of renowned French artist Cédric Peyravernay, known for his contributions to titles like Diablo IV, Prey, and Dishonored series, and even the Netflix series Love, Death + Robots.
