Whitethorn Games, a publisher of inclusive, accessible, and low-stress games, and Polygon Treehouse, the developer behind the BAFTA Award-nominated Röki, have announced that their upcoming adventure game, Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, will be featured in this year’s LudoNarraCon digital event. The event, which celebrates independent narrative games, takes place from May 4th to May 8th. During LudoNarraCon, a public demo of Mythwrecked will be available on its Steam page, allowing players to explore the island and interact with its divine inhabitants.
In Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, players assume the role of backpacker Alex, who finds herself stranded on the picturesque shores of Ambrosia Island. As she explores her surroundings, she encounters the gods of Greek mythology, who have lost their memories. Players will need to befriend the gods and help them regain their memories to find a way back home for Alex.

- Gods Among Us: Players will interact with various Greek gods who reside on Ambrosia Island, such as Ares, Athena, Hermes, and Hades. The Ambrosidex helps players track down these deities.
- Treasure in the Sandbox: Using the Ambrosidex’s radar signal, players can hunt for lost godly treasures scattered throughout the island, returning them to their rightful owners to restore their memories and learn about the island’s fate.
- Conversational Wizard: As players explore the island and converse with others, they unlock new conversation topics. Some gods may hold valuable information, but sensitive subjects may be off-limits until players have earned their friendship.
- Greek Legend: Mythwrecked offers a non-linear, emotional story that emphasizes the importance of friendship, family, and community.
