Introduction to the Latest DLC
Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has just unveiled an exciting update for ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 4, a game renowned for its vast character roster and immersive gameplay. Today marks the release of three new DLC packs, each inspired by the “One Piece Film: Red.” This update continues to build on the game’s success, which has seen over eight million units sold globally since its March 2020 debut.
New Characters Enter the Fray
In the first DLC pack, “One Piece Film: Red Character Pack,” players are introduced to three new playable characters: Shanks (Film: Red), Uta (Film: Red), and Koby (Film: Red). These characters bring unique movesets and abilities:
- Uta (Film: Red): As Shanks’ adopted daughter and a childhood friend of Luffy, Uta is a world-famous singer with the power of the Sing-Sing Fruit. Her abilities allow her to attack using musical notes and transform into Uta Knight for aerial combat.
- Shanks (Film: Red): The Red-Haired Shanks returns, showcasing his prowess as a swordsman and Haki user. He rejoins the story to save Uta and Elegia island from impending danger.
- Koby (Film: Red): Evolving from a timid soldier to a respected Marine leader, Koby uses his hand-to-hand combat skills and Six Powers to increase morale and enhance support attacks.
This Character Pack is available for purchase individually or included for those with Character Pass 2.
Expanding the Single-Player Experience
“Koby’s Combat Chronicles & Soul Map 2,” the Additional Episode 2 DLC, introduces fresh single-player content. This addition enriches the game’s narrative and offers new challenges for players.
Enhancing the Audio Experience
Lastly, the One Piece Film: Red Anime Song Pack DLC allows players to immerse themselves in battles with the film’s soundtrack as the in-game background music. This feature can be accessed in the battle preparation settings, adding an extra layer of excitement to the gameplay.
