Developers ArtCraft Entertainment work with the Unity Spotlight Team to take Crowfall’s visuals to the next level.
After a week of teasing their fans and backers, Artcraft Entertainment have revealed a massive overhaul to the in-game graphics, as well as a whole new and expanded system of character customization for their sandbox “Throne War” MMO Crowfall.
In addition, ACE have released another video showcasing the results of their partnership with the Unity Spotlight Team, an effort that takes the look and feel of the world of Crowfall to the next level. You can see the video here.

Despite a more open character customization system being one of the most requested additional features for the game, it was previously thought to be an unattainable goal due to time and budget restrictions. Now, thanks to the support of their backers, ACE are able to offer many different race/class combinations as part of character creation, rather than locking race and class into a static pre-built ‘archetype’.
This change, extended by the depth of options in the character customization system known as Disciplines, will allow players to enjoy an almost limitless variety of possible character builds.
Crowfall differs from standard MMOs in that each server represents a single “campaign world” with a unique map, unique rules, and a limited lifespan. A campaign will last only a few months before one guild or alliance conquers the map – at which point the characters collect the spoils of war and move on to the next campaign.
