SEGA today announced Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis, the free-to-play online action RPG game, has started the Spring Event, which includes a new Limited-time Quest, new Weapon Series, new items, and more!
Players can look for Mischief Symbols in Central City and take in the seasonal décor, then head out into the field and start gaining Seasonal Points by taking out specially marked enemies! In certain areas, they may encounter Co-op Trials with special characters. Keep an eye out for the Hululu Rappy, as well as the Hululu Emperappy and Great Rappy. Finally, check out the Limited-time Quest, Drill: Unidentified Region A16 for some great rewards!
The new limited-time quest is a great way to get some Seasonal Points since players are going to need to decimate hordes of enemies as quickly as possible. ARKS won’t leave you high and dry though, so they can expect some help in the form of Single-use Mobile Cannons and some other handy tools to help mow down those undesirables. Beware of the time penalty though!
Xiandy at the Seasonal Points Exchange Shop has all kinds of fun items, including items from the new Trunkul Seasonal Weapon Series that can be redeemed via Seasonal Points! These 8-star Rarity weapons can also be found in the field. There are some great cosmetic items available like the Gradient Heart Glasses and the Motion Change MTN: Idle Rappy Plush/B.
Throughout the event, players will receive tickets for the Limited-Time Spring Special Scratch, which features some neat Weapon Camos, cool accessories, Mag Forms, and more. They will also have a chance at an SG 100 Ticket!
Part 2 of the Spring Event begins on March 22nd with an all-new Limited-time quest as well as refreshed rewards at the Seasonal Points Exchange Shop.
