This Thursday, PUBG MOBILE, a leading mobile game worldwide, will launch its highly anticipated collaboration with Dragon Ball Super in the Version 2.7 Update. This partnership brings an extensive gameplay overhaul, featuring two new Dragon Ball Super modes, exclusive items, vehicles, areas, and more. The collaboration marks a significant milestone in the history of PUBG MOBILE, providing players with an unparalleled gaming experience.
Dragon Ball Super Themed Mode
The first of the groundbreaking Dragon Ball Super modes will be available in-game from July 13th to September 4th. This mode combines Dragon Ball elements with the classic PUBG MOBILE battle royale gameplay. Players have the opportunity to collect seven Dragon Balls to summon Shenron at the Shenron Summoning Altar. By making a wish, players can receive powerful in-game buffs.
Within this mode, four new Dragon Ball Super areas have been created in the Erangel, Livik, and Sanhok maps. These areas, including “Dragon Ball Village,” “Tenkaichi Budokai,” “Kame House,” and “Karin Tower,” offer various rewards for players to discover. Additionally, players can utilize the new “Hoipoi Capsule,” which can transform into a three-seater “Air Car” for efficient traversal across the battlegrounds.
To enhance the Dragon Ball experience, the update introduces the concept of “Ki,” a vital element from the Dragon Ball series. Gathering “Ki” enables enhanced mobility and the utilization of iconic moves such as the legendary “Kamehameha” beam and the “Buku-jutsu (Levitation technique)” for free flight at running speed. Players can replenish their “Ki” by consuming scattered “Senzu Beans,” which also restore health and energy.
Players seeking an extra challenge can look forward to the hidden Dragon Ball Trial. In this mode, players must locate the seven Dragon Balls while their positions are visible to other teams. Victory requires successfully securing the Dragon Balls, defending the Shenron Summoning Altar, and making a wish.
Battle Royale: Dragon Ball Super
The second Dragon Ball Super mode introduces a never-before-seen gameplay makeover in PUBG MOBILE. From July 15th to September 4th, players will enter a stylistic animated art style world. In this mode, players will embody one of five Dragon Ball Super characters: Son Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Piccolo, and Ultimate Gohan. Each character possesses unique main and support moves, competing to be the last one standing.
This new mode introduces Spirit Crystlets and Spirit Crystals that players can collect from the ground to restore energy and upgrade their moves, with the highest level being Level 4. Additionally, players can utilize new features like Teleport Points and Updraft to navigate and manipulate the map effectively.

Moreover, additional content is scheduled to release on August 11th, ensuring continuous excitement for players.

Additional Updates in Version 2.7
In addition to the Dragon Ball Super collaboration, the Version 2.7 Update brings several gameplay enhancements. The World of Wonder creative mode receives improvements, including a new editable Summer Brawl gameplay template. Moreover, a new assault rifle called ACE32 is introduced, available on all maps.
