2k, the renowned game publisher, has recently unveiled the Race to NXT Pack, the highly anticipated third downloadable content (DLC) for WWE® 2K23. Regarded as the highest-rated game in the franchise’s history according to Metacritic, WWE 2K23 continues to excite fans with its latest DLC offering. This new pack features a lineup of iconic and rising WWE Superstars, including the legendary Harley Race, who makes his debut in the WWE 2K franchise. Joining him are Tony D’Angelo, Ivy Nile, Wendy Choo, and Trick Williams, all making their franchise debuts. With an array of new moves, taunts, and exciting gameplay opportunities, the Race to NXT Pack delivers an immersive experience for players.
The Race to NXT Pack
Headlining the Race to NXT Pack is Harley Race, an esteemed WWE Hall of Famer. Known as the first-ever United States Champion, former King of the Ring, and renowned for his toughness in the squared circle, Race’s inclusion in WWE 2K23 marks a significant moment for fans of the franchise. Accompanying Race are four promising NXT Superstars making their debut in the WWE 2K series. Tony D’Angelo, the gritty leader of “The Family,” Ivy Nile, the dominant female powerhouse representing Diamond Mine, Wendy Choo, the fan-favorite perpetually fatigued wrestler, and Trick Williams, the brash right-hand man to NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, all bring their unique styles and personalities to the game.
This DLC pack introduces more than 50 new moves and taunts, enriching the gameplay experience for players. Additionally, these moves and taunts can be utilized in the creation suite to enhance custom Superstars. Each playable Superstar comes with their own MyFACTION card, providing further depth and immersion within the game. Players can opt to purchase the DLC individually or acquire it as part of the Season Pass, Deluxe Edition, or Icon Edition of WWE 2K23.
Exciting In-Game Events
Alongside the Race to NXT Pack, WWE 2K23’s MyFACTION game mode offers players an ongoing event titled “The Island vs. The Dungeon.” Running until June 21, this event allows players to step into the shoes of various members from the legendary Anoa’i wrestling family, pitted against members of the prestigious Hart wrestling family. By conquering this challenge, players have the opportunity to earn an exclusive Amethyst Solo Sikoa card as the ultimate prize.
Moreover, WWE 2K23 introduces the Amethyst Token Market on June 16, followed by a WWE SuperCard-themed Live Event on June 17, rewarding players with an Amethyst Ricochet card. On June 23, players can participate in the Money In The Bank-themed “Cash-In Collective” card collection, and a Live Event that grants an Amethyst Eddie Guerrero card. These additions provide players with a range of powerful new cards to enhance their factions and further immerse themselves in the game’s universe. To offer more excitement, the Faction Wars ladder will be extended on June 23, presenting players with additional challenges to overcome.
Upcoming DLC Packs and Sale Promotions
2K has also revealed its plans for two additional DLC packs in the months ahead. The Revel with Wyatt Pack is scheduled for release on July 19, followed by the Bad News U Pack on August 16. Fans can anticipate more thrilling content and surprises as these DLCs become available.
