It’s been over a year since Rockstar introduced its GTA Online Casino update. The Diamond Casino & Resort has become one of the online phenomenon’s most popular attractions and continues to receive regular updates with new features.
The Diamond Casino & Resort update marked a significant milestone in the history of video games, allowing players to visit a functioning casino in the game. It is still one of the few titles that allow its users to enjoy games like blackjack, roulette, and three-card poker online. Usually, players would have to download a casino app to enjoy such features. There are many online casino apps for players to choose from, the likes of which are often reviewed online. But Rockstar made the major step of introducing these features into an already-popular online scene.
GTA Online is a global phenomenon and now, the company has introduced even more features into the popular casino. The Diamond Casino Heist mission has been live for some time but now, Rockstar has announced the return of diamonds to the underground vault.
“There are rumors of delivery of gems in the vault underneath The Diamond Casino & Resort property,” the announcement read.
“It’s never a sure bet, but some rumors are worth their weight in cold, hard currency. Complete the Diamond Casino Heist Finale for a chance to take home a Diamond score.”
One of the most popular features of the casino is the Lucky Wheel, the in-house game that allows players one free spin each day. Players can win all sorts of prizes but for this week only, the Lampadati Komoda complete with a custom livery is up for grabs for some very lucky players.
Also coming in this new update is a change to The Vespucci Job, the popular Adversary Mode feature that first launched back in 2018. For this week, the game mode is paying out triple money and RP. The RC Time Trials are following a similar line and paying out double.
Rockstar has also announced a swathe of discounts and sales on existing items. Players can get up to 50% off some vehicles including the Karin Everon and the Übermacht Rebla. There are also some huge discounts on Executive Offices and Executive Office Upgrades are up to 50% off. Players with Twitch Prime will receive unique benefits and PlayStation Plus members will receive a special bonus of GTA$1 million just for signing in.
In all, it’s another solid update from Rockstar that will keep players interested, not just in the Diamond Casino & Resort but in GTA Online in general. Users will be keen for more substantial changes moving forward but for now, these small quality-of-life updates are welcome.
