XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., today announced that SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal, the full, modern remake of the series’ first entry in the west, is available now for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC via Steam. SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal is also available as limited editions on PS4™ system, including the ‘Tailor-Made’ edition (physical and digital), bursting with fan-focused content, and the ‘At the Seams’ edition (physical), which adds six “Busty Besties” character straps on display stands to all items in the ‘Tailor Made’ edition. The ‘Tailor-Made’ edition is also available digitally on Steam. To celebrate its release, XSEED Games is offering two DLC costumes – “Cutie ♡ Melon” and “Cutie ♡ Peach” — to all players as a free download during the first four weeks following the game’s launch. After this promotional period, these DLC costumes will be sold at $3.99 each.
In SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal, players of all experience levels have the opportunity go back to the beginning of the series, training as a shinobi at the bright, warm Hanzō Academy or the tough-as-nails Hebijo Academy. Battle training dummies, street punks, and rival shinobi, all across modern-day Japan, in this completely remade version of the original release. The remake features not only full 3D environments in colorful HD, but a variety of gameplay improvements and expansions.
