Today, Pearl Abyss has released tutorial videos to help players to hone their skills in their new arena fighter Shadow Arena in Shadow Arena YouTube channel. The first video highlights the skills and combos for the swordsman Jordine Ducas. Jordan is a well-balanced character that can easily be picked up by new players.
In addition, there will be a new video featuring AI mode that helps players learn and execute their skills by practicing with bots. In this video, community managers for Shadow Arena demonstrate how to have some fun with AI.
Next week, Shadow Arena begins its final phase of closed beta testing before launching later this year. The beta will be available for the North American, European, and Asian servers from Friday, April 17 until Sunday, April 20.

New features for this phase of beta testing include an improved matching system and character balance, as well as normal and AI match modes. Normal match mode does not count toward a player’s ranking. It’s for players who want to play the game casually without the pressure of competition.
People who sign up for a beta will receive a special package of in-game items including the highest grade sealed items, a matchlock, and Red Dragon Offering. Players who signed up for previous beta phases will receive a final beta key and the exclusive in-game rewards.
