Today’s announcement at the Into the Infinite Showcase during Gamescom unveiled the latest career for Sienna in ARHAMMER: VERMINTIDE 2, the Necromancer. Scheduled to release on Steam, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on October 19, the long-awaited fourth career promises to take the character in a darker direction.

Sienna’s Necromancer career originates from a battle with her twin sister, Sofia. This confrontation grants Sienna the ability to raise the dead, marking a new chapter in her journey as she moves away from her Bright Wizard roots. The details of how she obtained these powers are still shrouded in mystery.
Fatshark’s Commitment to Vermintide 2’s Evolution
Joakim Setterberg, Lead Game Designer on Vermintide 2, expressed excitement over the introduction of Necromancy to Sienna’s gameplay, describing it as “something unexpected yet plausible for Sienna, with a new play style based on Necromancy in the Warhammer Fantasy universe.”
Since its launch in 2018, Vermintide 2 has seen a steady influx of content, including five additional adventure map campaigns, two game mode expansions, and now a total of four new careers.
