Red Art Games has announced that its challenging 2D Souls-like survival horror game, Skautfold: Shrouded in Sanity, will be released for PlayStation 5 on May 5th, 2023. Developed by Pugware and ported to consoles by Red Art Studios, Skautfold: Shrouded in Sanity is the first installment in the Skautfold game series. Set in an alternate historical setting of 1897 within the Angelic Empire of Britannia, Skautfold: Shrouded in Sanity follows a mysterious protagonist tasked with eliminating the source of an unnatural fog engulfing Berelai Manor. Players will need to uncover the estate’s secrets while navigating its violent inhabitants, who have been driven mad by a deeper understanding of cosmic insignificance.
Equipped with a trusty cane and Waltham A9 hand cannon, players must fend off the maddening horrors lurking within the all-consuming fog while maintaining their sanity. Skautfold: Shrouded in Sanity boasts beautiful 2D graphics, an intriguing storyline, and challenging Souls-like gameplay. The game’s pixel art graphics further enhance the gaming experience.
Skautfold: Shrouded in Sanity will be available on the PlayStation Store for €9.99/$9.99 and supports multiple languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Chinese (Traditional), and Chinese (Simplified).
