First Post-launch Update Features New NPC, Items & Inscriptions
Skul: The Hero Slayer, the critically-acclaimed indie roguelite published by NEOWIZ and developed by SouthPAW Games, just released their first major post-launch update.
This first update features a multitude of additions, the bulk of which is 38 new playable items. Some of the items are particularly unique and only activate when certain acts are completed (i.e. defeating a boss or special enemy). 7 new Inscriptions have also been implemented in the game and have cumulative effects that will lead to even more bombastic and fast-paced battles.
The final major addition is an NPC called the Grave Robber. He will show up in the Black Market and accept Dark Quartz as payment for unlocking some of the aforementioned items.
“We’ve been working hard to create more content for Skul and we can’t wait to see what our community thinks of the additions” said Sang Woo Park, CEO of SouthPAW Games. “This update is only a starting point though, as we plan on making a lot of cool and exciting things as 2021 rambles on.”
Skul is available now on Steam for $19.99 USD, and will be discounted starting on March 11th for a period of one week.
