Ubisoft has unveiled Waves of Change, a charity initiative within its game Skull and Bones, running from March 18 to March 31. The event encourages players to engage in the game’s combative elements, with Ubisoft pledging to donate to ocean conservation efforts based on player achievements. The company aims to contribute up to 300,000 € to aid in preserving marine ecosystems.

In this limited-time event, players will combat various in-game adversaries, including Skirmishers, Headhunters, and Pirate Lord Philippe La Peste. Ubisoft’s donations to Oceana, an organization focused on ocean restoration, will correlate with the players’ success in these encounters. The event is open to all players, offering an opportunity for those on a free trial to participate and support the cause. Progress towards the donation goal can be tracked on a specific webpage, with players also earning the Pioneer set in-game as a reward for their contributions.
