Synth Riders Update Enhances Apple Vision Pro Experience

New Party Mode and Achievements Enrich Gameplay

Major Update for Spatial Rhythm Game

Synth Riders, developed by Kluge Interactive, is introducing significant enhancements to its Apple Vision Pro version, incorporating a local party mode and integration with Game Center achievements. Initially released for Apple Vision Pro on February 2, through Apple Arcade, this update marks the first substantial addition to the game.

Local Party Mode Feature

The newly introduced Party Mode allows Apple Vision Pro users to compete locally on the same device. This mode operates in Guest Mode, offering an arcade-like experience with a local leaderboard where players can save their scores independently of the main Game Center leaderboard. This feature ensures that the device owner’s progress remains unaffected. The Party Mode is designed to provide a seamless and competitive experience for friends and family, allowing for the sharing of the headset and leveraging the visionOS Guest feature for optimal eye and hand tracking. Additionally, players can broadcast their Party Mode gameplay to any compatible Apple TV or AirPlay device, enabling them to share their gaming experience with a wider audience.

Comments from the Creative Director

Abraham Aguero, Creative Director at Kluge Interactive, expressed enthusiasm about the reception of Synth Riders on the Apple Vision Pro platform. He highlighted the team’s commitment to leveraging the unique features of the Apple Vision Pro to enhance the player experience. Aguero also hinted at more features to come, indicating ongoing development efforts to further engage the Synth Riders community.

Game Center Achievements

The update introduces Game Center achievements, allowing players to earn, track, and share their progress and milestones within the game. This addition aims to enrich the gaming experience by recognizing player achievements and encouraging community interaction.

Availability

The update to Synth Riders, including the local party mode and Game Center achievements, will be available to Apple Vision Pro users with an Apple Arcade subscription starting Friday, March 22. This enhancement is part of Kluge Interactive’s ongoing efforts to provide a richer and more interactive gaming experience to its players.
