Microids Reveals New Smurf Game with Adventure and Party Modes
Microids, in collaboration with IMPS, has unveiled The Smurfs – Village Party, a new game slated for release on 6 June 2024. The game, developed by Balio Studio, will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
Game Overview
In The Smurfs – Village Party, players are invited to participate in a festive event organized by Papa Smurf. The game tasks players with preparing for the party, recruiting village Smurfs, and evading the machinations of the antagonist, Gargamel.
Gameplay Features
Party Game Mode: This mode promises a communal gaming experience with 50 mini-games reflecting the Smurfs’ universe. Players can choose from 19 iconic Smurfs characters and customize them with over 31 outfits. The mini-games span various categories, including sport, quickness, luck, memory, battle, and accuracy, supporting 2-4 players in local multiplayer.
Adventure Mode: Players embark on a narrative-driven journey through the Smurf Village, encountering over 100 iconic Smurfs and exploring 10 diverse environments. These range from the native Smurf village to the daunting realm of Gargamel.
The Smurfs – Village Party aims to provide a blend of party and adventure elements, offering a versatile gaming experience for fans of the Smurfs franchise. The game’s release is set to bring the vibrant world of the Smurfs to various gaming platforms next summer.
