When Vampires and Zombies Collide: Dying Light 2 Meets Vampire: The Masquerade

A Bloodcurdling Collaboration Just in Time for Halloween

Ghoulish Gameplay

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is embracing its darker side as it collides with the world of Vampire: The Masquerade. This in-game event, part of the broader Halloween fest known as The Frightening, is free to access for all Dying Light 2 players across PC, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. The event kicks off today, October 26, and will keep the blood flowing until November 2.

The Art of Darkness

The Kindred, the infamous vampires from the World of Darkness universe, have descended upon the city of Villedor. During this event, players get to face off against these night-loving fiends and even wield some vampiric powers of their own. What’s more, the nocturnal nature of these foes means more limb-dismembering action and damage at night.

Sip the Blood, Gain the Power

Amp up your combat abilities with vials of Banu Haqim, Brujah, and Tremere Blood. These magical vials grant temporary powers in Combat, Traversal, and Survival and can be found in places like Dark Hollows and Forsaken Stores or by taking down Volatiles, Tyrants, Hives, and Revenants.

Bounty Bonanza

Players have multiple paths to unlock vampiric loot. By completing challenges and bounties, gamers can snag everything from special vials to weapon blueprints and character outfits. Hit the Participation Goal with three vials of Banu Haqim, Brujah, or Tremere Blood. Go beyond and claim the Warm-Up Goal, which nets the Bloodbane Blade weapon and blueprint. If you’re gunning for the stars, reach the Personal Goal to sport the swanky Banu Haqim outfit.

Community Rewards Unleashed

It’s not just about individual goals; the community has a shot at a collective reward. If players together complete 775,000 bounties and/or challenges during the event, everyone scores a Banu Haqim Charm for their weapon and the Haqim’s Ascent paraglider skin, complete with a night glow effect.

The Choice is Yours

Post-event, starting November 2, players can snag Banu Haqim, Brujah, and Tremere Bundles from the in-game store for 500 DL Points each. However, you can also unlock the full Banu Haqim Bundle for free by crushing the event’s goals. So, whether you align with the justice-driven Banu Haqim or the chaotic Brujah, the choice is yours.

This is the info drop you don’t wanna sleep on. Get in the game and find out which side of the supernatural you stand on. No cap, this is gonna be lit!
