American Truck Simulator’s Oklahoma DLC: Exploring More Cities and Settlements

Discover the charm of Woodward, Clinton, Ardmore, and McAlester, along with several settlements in the upcoming Oklahoma DLC for American Truck Simulator

American Truck Simulator’s Oklahoma DLC continues to reveal more of its Cities and Settlements, following the previous showcase of Guymon, Enid, Lawton, and Idabel. Today, we take a closer look at four more cities and several settlements, providing an immersive experience for truckers in the game.

Woodward:

Established in 1887, Woodward is a city with a rich history as a shipping point for livestock and provisions. With a population of over 15,000, the city serves northwest Oklahoma as a commercial and livestock hub. The city’s charm and history provide an engaging atmosphere for drivers.

Clinton:

Situated in a large valley surrounded by picturesque rolling hills and vast open spaces, Clinton, Oklahoma, is a small community with approximately 10,000 residents. Known as the “Hub City of Western Oklahoma,” Clinton is located on Historic Route 66 and features historic buildings in its downtown business district. The presence of food and agriculture industries ensures truckers can find delivery contracts daily.

Ardmore:

A hidden gem in Oklahoma, Ardmore is a historic city located near the renowned Adventure Road in Carter County. Its name, derived from the Irish term Ard Mór, meaning “hills” or “high ground,” offers rich cultural landmarks and vibrant businesses for residents and visitors alike. Truckers can anticipate contracts from various industries, including the tire factory.

McAlester:

The city of McAlester, named after James Jackson McAlester, who established a general store here in 1869, has since transformed into a bustling city following its rapid expansion due to the discovery of coal. It now houses several industries while maintaining its historic status.

Settlements:

In addition to the cities, the Oklahoma DLC allows players to pass through numerous settlements, including Boise City, which was accidentally bombed during World War 2; Shamrock, located along Route 66; and Cushing, known as the pipeline crossroads of the world for its significance in trading crude oil.

The Oklahoma DLC for American Truck Simulator promises more exciting experiences for players, with more to be revealed soon.
