Biggest Changes That Are Expected To Be Made In FIFA 21

The countdown to the release of FIFA 21 is well underway, which means keen gamers are already looking ahead to what they could expect when the next EA Sports release is made. Gamers will be hoping for huge changes to the game after a pretty underwhelming experience was had when it came to FIFA 20. It was largely considered as one of the worst games that EA Sports have released in recent years, which means that there will be pressure on this release to be right. But what changes can we expect?

Improvement In Off-The-Ball

A big change that has already been revealed by EA is that gamers will be able to get more authentic behavior off-the-ball from their players. While this may not have a huge impact on the gameplay itself, there will be huge excitement, as it will ensure that players will be able to notice the same changes that make the difference. Some of the things that players may be able to notice now are players adjusting their shin-pads in the final stages of the match, and players screaming for a pass on the opposite side of the pitch. Both minor, but will add to the overall experience.

Improved Visuals

The graphics in FIFA have always been superb, but it would seem that FIFA 21 is going to go above and beyond when it comes to graphics. Gamers were given a first glimpse of what they can expect to see when the trailer was released, and there were stunning shots of Kylian Mbappe looking almost life-like. As well as players, there will be an improvement in the appearance of the crowd, and the weather will also look more realistic. Both again will not affect gameplay, but at least FIFA 21 will be the sharpest football game that we have seen in years.

Career Mode

Career Mode has been in desperate need of a shake-up over recent seasons, and that looks like it will finally come in FIFA 21. It has slowly become very repetitive, with players moving to the same clubs in the transfer window and every season feeling the same. There were also glitches in the mode in FIFA 20, which often saw teams celebrating winning a trophy without actually having their hands on the trophy. EA have certainly been focusing more on Ultimate Team over the last couple of seasons, and it’s about time that Career Mode got that same kind of focus.

Player Ratings

The biggest change that comes with every release of FIFA is the ratings. Gamers often look forward to these being revealed for weeks beforehand, with fans of certain teams often debating amongst themselves which players deserve upgrades and which players will be suffering the disappointment of having a lower rating. Once again, FIFA will build the anticipation before revealing ratings for this game, but it never takes away the excitement that fans have when they are finally released.
