The 1.47 update for Euro Truck Simulator 2 has been released on Steam, introducing bug fixes, new content, and changes to the game. The developers extend their gratitude to everyone who participated in the 1.47 Open Beta and provided valuable feedback and bug reports, contributing to the update’s improvements.

The update includes a Germany Rework, as part of the Revisiting Germany project, with the cities of Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Nurnberg, and Erfurt entirely reworked. This encompasses landmarks, road networks, industries, and more, aligning the oldest map sections of the base game with current development standards.

Ownable Gas Cisterns have been added to Euro Truck Simulator 2, featuring a variety of lengths, chassis, and customization options. These cisterns are designed for transporting dangerous and highly flammable gases like Ethane, Propane, and LPG (Liquefied petroleum gas).

In addition to gas cisterns, Ownable Livestock Trailers have been introduced. Players will now have the opportunity to transport cattle and pigs in their very own trailers, with different body and chassis customizations available.

The update also brings Adaptive Cruise Control and Emergency Braking System, which were initially released as hidden experimental features in version 1.44. These features help adjust the vehicle’s distance and speed while in cruise control mode, and automatically activate the brakes to avoid or minimize collision damage, respectively.

Uneven Surface Simulation has been introduced in the 1.47 update, adding procedurally generated bumps to roads and other terrains, providing an imperfect feel to the driving experience.

Custom city intros have been expanded to include the Road to the Black Sea DLC, giving players a unique cutscene when they select a starting city while creating a new profile. The Career History User Interface (UI) has been redesigned, offering a more detailed look into the player’s statistics and previous deliveries.

Additional changes include an In-Game Update Log, which shows the changelog of a major update or featured DLC release, and an Economy Reset Teleport that allows players a free quick travel to any service station of their choice after a game change has been detected.

This comprehensive update brings numerous enhancements to the Euro Truck Simulator 2 gaming experience, providing players with new content, improved gameplay, and refined UI features.
