Suit up, Exofighters! The arsenal of the popular action game Exoprimal expands today with the launch of Title Update 1 across various platforms. This substantial free content update brings fresh opportunities for team-based combat and enriches the game’s experience with new Exosuit variants, Modules, and additional features.
Available Platforms and Content
Title Update 1 is now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, and includes access through Xbox Game Pass for console, PC, Cloud. PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC users can also download this free update via Steam.
New Dino-Slaying Exosuit Variants
This update introduces 10 new Alpha variant Exosuits, each equipped with unique weapon loadouts that contrast with standard models. These additions offer a new level of strategic depth, allowing players to discover new playstyles and develop innovative combat strategies. The new Exosuit variants include:
- Deadeye Alpha: Burst Fire – Versatile shotgun model
- Zephyr Alpha: Energy Chakram – Mid-range projectile focus
- Barrage Alpha: Rocket Hop – Explosive rocket launcher model
- Vigilant Alpha: Marksman – A nimble semi-auto rifle user
- Roadblock Alpha: Fortress Shield – A defensive model with a detachable shield
- Krieger Alpha: Charge Shotgun – Wide-range scatter shots and compressed blasts
- Murasame Alpha: Frost Glaive – Freezes enemies with ice waves
- Witchdoctor Alpha: Duality Beam – Dual-purpose energy beams
- Skywave Alpha: Thunder Clap – Summons charged lightning bolts
- Nimbus Alpha: Double Barrel – Dual shotgun model for healing and dealing damage
New Game Modes and Customization Options
These Exosuit variants are playable in both the main game mode, Dino Survival, and Savage Gauntlet, a 5-player co-op time-attack mode with weekly challenges. Players can unlock Alpha variant Exosuits for free in-game by leveling up base versions of the Exosuits to level 20.
Title Update 1 also includes 34 more Modules for enhanced customization of Exosuits’ battlefield performance, with some designed for use with specific models or variants.
Special Collaborations and Future Content
To celebrate the milestone of over one million players, Title Update 1 offers a free Skywave “Egret” skin. There’s also a special Exosuit Decal and emote collaboration with J-pop group Da-iCE, known for their song “Funky Jumping” in Exoprimal.
Capcom is committed to supporting Exoprimal with free content updates each season. October 2023 will see the arrival of Season 2, featuring a new map, mission type, Rigs, Modules, and a collaboration with Street Fighter 6. Season 3, set for January 2024, will include Beta variant Exosuits, a new boss enemy, and a Monster Hunter™ crossover.
