Co-op Gameplay Comes to Little Nightmares III on Consoles and PC
The world of The Nowhere is about to get a little more terrifying and a lot more cooperative. Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has unveiled LITTLE NIGHTMARES III, slated for release in 2024. The 12 million+-selling atmospheric adventure franchise, now developed by Supermassive Games, promises a return to the dark and unsettling world full of terrifying creatures and deadly challenges.
LITTLE NIGHTMARES III will land on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Journey of Low and Alone – Escaping The Nowhere
The new installment follows two friends, Low and Alone, on their quest to escape The Nowhere. Their journey takes them through the Spiral, home to dangerous locations like the Necropolis, where clever puzzles, dangerous threats, and memorable creatures such as Monster Baby await.
Unique Gameplay with Iconic Items and Teamwork
Adding spice to the series, LITTLE NIGHTMARES III introduces unique gameplay aspects. Low and Alone will wield iconic items – a bow and arrow for Low and a wrench for Alone, helping them through their perilous journey.
For the first time in the franchise, two-player online co-op will be an option, allowing friends to face their childhood fears together. Single-player mode remains, with players choosing between Low or Alone while AI controls the other character.
Expanding Universe with The Sounds of Nightmares Podcast
In addition to the game, the LITTLE NIGHTMARES universe continues to grow with The Sounds of Nightmares, a 6-episode podcast. The original story follows Noone, a young girl battling worsening nightmares under the care of Otto, the Counsellor. As their story unfolds, their destinies seem destined to collide.
