SNK Revives Classic Series with New Title and Advanced Gameplay Mechanics

SNK CORPORATION has announced the upcoming release of FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, marking the franchise’s return after a 26-year hiatus. Scheduled for early 2025, this title will blend classic elements with new features, such as an updated art style and the innovative REV system.

Legacy Meets Innovation in Gameplay and Characters

FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves will reintroduce characters from previous titles alongside new entrants. Key characters include Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Hotaru Futuba, Tizoc, and debutant Preecha, each with distinct backgrounds and motives.

The game introduces the REV System, enhancing combat dynamics with new offensive strategies and a heat management mechanic. Alongside, traditional FATAL FURY battle systems like Combination Attacks and Just Defense have been updated for contemporary gameplay.

Adaptable Controls for Every Player

With an eye on accessibility, the game offers two control schemes: Arcade Style for precision and technique, and Smart Style for easier execution of special moves and combos. This approach caters to both newcomers and seasoned players, ensuring a tailored experience.
