Fury Incarnate Update (10.1.7) to Launch on September 5th

Background Details

In the wake of Iridikron’s escape during the events of Fractures in Time (10.1.5), Azeroth’s champions and their dragon allies are faced with the upcoming challenges from the remaining Incarnates. A notable threat among them is Fyrakk.

Update Features

1. Continuation of Story Quests

The forthcoming chapters of the ongoing narratives will be accessible, paving the way for future developments expected later in the year with the 10.2 update. Moreover:

  • The next segments of the Reforging Tyr questline will be rolled out.
  • Players can anticipate quests revolving around the Bronze Dragonflight, which aims to resolve their expeditions into the timeways from the Fractures in Time (10.1.5) events.

2. Dawn of the Infinite: Heroic Difficulty

A robust eight-boss mega-dungeon, which was initially exclusive to Mythic level, will now be divided into two parts that players can queue for in Heroic difficulty.

3. Customization Enhancements

Players are provided with:

  • Night Elf and Forsaken heritage armor with respective unlock questlines.
  • Special customizations for Draenei players called Man’ari Eredar, which includes a distinctive questline with Prophet Velen.
  • Augmented face and body tattoo options for Night Elf players.
  • New skin color choices for Forsaken individuals.

4. New Public Objectives: Dreamsurges

In selected Dragonflight zones, players will witness an attunement to the Dream. Consequently:

  • These zones’ rares and world quests will yield a unique currency.
  • This currency can be utilized for activating zone-wide enhancements and commencing Waking Dream invasion events, reminiscent of Time Rifts.
  • Dream-empowered rares might yield bind-on-account gear tokens, ideal for catch-up gear for returning and new players.

Additional Content Insights

In Fury Incarnate, players can collaborate in new public events labeled Dreamsurges. They can earn Forsaken and Night Elf Heritage Armor, tackle the Heroic difficulty for the Dawn of the Infinite mega-dungeon, and follow Prophet Velen’s insights, which depict an altered destiny for some of the draenei community.

Public Events: Dreamsurges

Every week, one of the initial zones in the Dragon Isles—either The Waking Shores, Ohn’ahran Plains, Thaldraszus, or The Azure Span—will be influenced by Waking Dream portals. Players seeking extra challenges can confront rare creatures and event bosses for a chance at superior gear.

Heritage Armor Questline: Forsaken and Night Elf

Unique questlines for the Forsaken and Night Elf will allow players to earn and expand their heritage armor collections. Additionally, the Forsaken will receive five fresh skin color variations, and Night Elves will have an extended range of face and body tattoo options.

Dawn of the Infinite

The Infinite Dragonflight, adversaries of the Bronze Dragonflight for a long time, are on a mission to transform Nozdormu, the Aspect of Time, into Murozond. This mega-dungeon, now accessible in Heroic difficulty, will guide players through the timeways to halt the Infinite Dragonflight’s mission and reinstate Azeroth’s timeline.
