GreenPark Sports Officially Locks in LaLiga as Newest Professional Sports League

As of today, LaLiga is the third and newest professional sports league partner available in the GreenPark metaverse, following existing partners, NBA and LCS. Kicking off just in time for the start of LaLiga’s new season, the new multi-year partnership allows players to select any of the league’s 20 teams and prove their fan passion through various challenges and minigames. Alongside all-new in-game offerings, the virtual land also features the likeness of some of the most skilled players in LaLiga including Sergiño Dest, Karim Benzema, Iñaki Williams, and more.

Recognizing the immense potential of their collaboration, the GreenPark and LaLiga teams have worked closely and quickly since originally announcing their global deal in December 2020. Timed to launch, the virtual land also features the likeness of some of the most skilled players in LaLiga, including jerseys from Sergiño Dest (Barcelona), Karim Benzema (Real Madrid), Iñaki Williams (Athletic Bilbao), and Gerard Moreno (Villarreal). Additional popular players such as Luis Suarez (Atlético Madrid), Diego Lainez (Real Betis), and Jesús Navas (Sevilla) will also have featured jerseys in the near future.

In addition to the app’s current offerings (fan parties, prediction battles, arcade games, and more), LaLiga fans have access to new features including:
Chat: A new way to connect with your friends directly in the app.

  • Merch Cart: The central place where fans can use in-game currency to purchase official gear and other digital items
  • New Digital Gear: Countless combinations of new gear for fans to swag out their greenies include official kits and newly created designs for apparel, headwear, scarves, footwear, and gloves
  • Collectibles: Branded stickers and other collectible items to rock your in-game fandom and share with friends
  • New Matchball: The official (Puma) match ball will be included in “Fan Party” as an added element of beachball-like fun
  • League Music: LaLiga theme music will be integrated into the app
