Bandai Namco Online Inc. and Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., the leading video game developer and publisher, have announced the six-month anniversary of their first-ever free-to-play shooter, GUNDAM EVOLUTION. To mark the occasion, they have launched Season 4, called Ballista, which brings a variety of new content and gameplay updates. The game is available for free on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via STEAM.

GUNDAM EVOLUTION is continuing its expansion into new regions and is now playable on PC and consoles in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina, as well as on PC only in Australia and New Zealand. Players in these regions can access the latest content from the Season 4 launch.

The Ballista update introduces the Gundam Dynames mobile suit, an agile sniper unit with versatile short and long-range attack capabilities, making it highly adaptable in combat situations. The new season also adds Headquarters Mode, where teams fight to occupy or protect zones containing a powerful core that can be destroyed. Teams earn points by defending or attacking the core, with the first team to reach five points declared the winner.

Additional updates arriving in GUNDAM EVOLUTION’s Season 4 include:

  1. Half-Anniversary Events running from April 12 to May 17, featuring a Login Bonus, a New Player Campaign, and a Returning Player Campaign.
  2. Two new unit skins (Prototype Gundam, Zaku II S [Recon]) with exclusive sound effects, along with the introduction of the “Buried City” map.
  3. Implementation of Achievement Challenges.
  4. Adjustments to matchmaking, skill ratings, and in-game store UI.
  5. Addition of minor items related to MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM: THE WITCH FROM MERCURY.

By offering a comprehensive update with new content and gameplay enhancements, GUNDAM EVOLUTION’s Season 4 Ballista aims to engage players and increase the game’s global reach.
