Global Indie Gaming Showcase Set for May 25th
INDIE Live Expo, recognized as Japan’s leading online digital event for indie gaming, has announced its first showcase of 2024. Scheduled for Saturday, May 25th, this event is poised to connect indie game enthusiasts from across the globe. Following a significant online presence with over 10 million views during its Winter 2023 showcase and a cumulative 98.7 million views since its inception in 2020, the upcoming May showcase is set to be the 10th event in the INDIE Live series. This milestone is celebrated with the introduction of a new logo.
Bridging Global Indie Scenes
The INDIE Live Expo is designed as a platform to bridge indie gaming scenes worldwide, offering broadcasts in English, Japanese, and Chinese. The event features the “INDIE Waves” segment, known for its rapid-fire presentation of short-form content updates across various titles. Additionally, the expo will provide a deep dive into new local indie scenes with the return of the “Indie Studios Around the World” segment.
Open Call for Game Submissions
INDIE Live Expo is currently accepting game submissions from indie developers and publishers until Monday, March 11th, at 7:00 PM PDT / 10:00 PM EST. The submission process is open to a wide range of content, including reveals of new projects, news on upcoming games, major updates for existing titles, or sales. Participation is free for one title per organization, and sponsorship opportunities are available for those interested.
