INDIE Live Expo Teases Summer 2023 Lineup, Calls for Simulcasters

INDIE Live Expo, the biannual live digital showcase for indie games, has announced a lineup of more than 300 titles for its upcoming two-day celebration on May 20 and 21st, 2023. The event will feature new game reveals and updates from various indie game developers, including WSS Playground, Odencat, and many more.

The first day of the event will highlight indie games across different segments, and will be broadcasted simultaneously in English, Japanese, and Chinese on multiple platforms. Meanwhile, the second day, called “The AFTERSHOW,” will feature let’s plays of select titles from the first day’s reveals.

The event will be hosted by a talented trio of bilingual streamers including gaming content creator High Tension Gaijin “HighGai,” indie game streamer J-mon, and returning INDIE Live Expo veterans, streamer and MC Kaori “Kaotan” Horiuchi.

The INDIE Live Expo organizers are also calling for content creators to join the festivities and broadcast as official live simulcast partners. Interested creators can fill out an application form available on the event’s official website.

The INDIE Live Expo 2023 will be streamed live on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and bilibili in Japanese, English and Chinese. The event’s media partners include IGN Southeast Asia, ClutchPoints, Sportskeeda, EveryEye, Final Weapon, Boomstick Gaming, Drops De Jogos, Gematsu, Pizza Fria, Bleeding Cool, Screen Rant, Indie Hive, Gamerfocus, GameMag, Honey’s Anime, Multiplayer, But Why Tho?, AusGamers, The Escapist, and Cubiq.

The event’s founder, Ryuta Konuma, expressed his excitement for this year’s event, stating, “With over 300 indies selected for this summer’s show, this is just a glimpse of the games we have to share. The two-day celebration is almost upon us, and we look forward to collaborating with familiar content creators from previous years as well as new simulcasters for this summer’s showcase!”
