The popular action RPG, Summoners War: Chronicles, unveils a major story update that introduces the new continent of Kontana, the land of ancients. Players can now experience the thrilling conclusion to the first storyline, which recently launched in 170 countries. This update offers an expanded game world with vibrant environments and fresh content to explore, including a new Monster story, Quality-of-Life improvements, and numerous in-game events for both Kontana and familiar regions.
Players will embark on a journey through Kontana, pursuing the villain Tefo and witnessing the conflict between the Tuahas and Neotuahas. Upon completing the storyline, players will be teased with hints of what the next continent will offer.
Key gameplay additions and improvements in the update include:
- Expansion to 6-Star Runes: The maximum Rune star grade has been increased to 6 stars, and a Rune alchemy system has been implemented, allowing Monsters to become even more powerful.
- Hard Mode Challenges: The Path of Adventure now features Hard levels, where players can face formidable challenges for a chance to acquire powerful 6-Star Runes.
- Rune System Overhaul: Enhancements have been made to Rune Disassembly and Rune filtering, making them more user-friendly. New systems for Rune Crafting, Rune Succession, and Rune Combination have also been introduced.
- Character Updates: A Monster Story for (Fire) Pioneer has been added and can be found in the Guard Journal – Monster Story tab. Additionally, one Summoner skill has been added to each of the Water, Fire, and Wind attributes.
- Quality-of-Life Improvements: Players can now access information about the enemy team in Battlefield areas, quickly join new matches in the Challenge Arena without leaving the combat result page, and set their own party restrictions for Galagos Ruins, with harder configurations yielding greater rewards.
- Auto Mining / Gathering: An automatic gathering/mining system has been introduced, with efficiency based on the Summoner’s Account Level.
