2K and Marvel Entertainment have announced the highly anticipated launch of Marvel’s Midnight Suns, a groundbreaking tactical RPG, on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on May 11th, 2023. The game will be available in digital format only, with all four post-launch DLC packs accessible for purchase and play on the same date. However, the Nintendo Switch version of the game has been canceled as part of revised plans.
The final DLC pack, “Blood Storm,” is set to release on May 11th as well, featuring the powerful mutant Storm. Players can purchase the DLC individually or as part of the Marvel’s Midnight Suns Season Pass, included in the Legendary Edition. Each DLC introduces a new recruitable hero, three new story missions, an upgrade for the Abbey, and an assortment of skins and outfits for the hero.
Storm, known as Ororo Munroe, is a formidable mutant who can control the weather. She was orphaned at a young age and taken in by a village priestess in Kenya. After using her newly developed powers to summon rain and save her village from drought, she was later recruited by Charles Xavier to join the X-Men. As Storm, she led the team and used her abilities to help people worldwide. In the “Blood Storm” DLC, Storm meets Magik while searching for an endangered mutant child in New York alongside Wolverine and is persuaded to join the Midnight Suns.
