The first DLC for the rhythm FPS, Metal: Hellsinger, developed by The Outsiders and published by Funcom, is now available. Titled Dream of the Beast, the DLC introduces two new songs performed by Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil) and Will Ramos (Lorna Shore), as well as new outfits and a unique weapon. In Metal: Hellsinger, players embark on a journey through the Hells to reclaim their voice from the devil herself. Players must defeat demonic hordes by shooting, dashing, and executing takedowns to the beat of an acclaimed original soundtrack.
The new DLC includes a free Song Selector feature that allows players to choose any song, including the newly added tracks, to play on each level. This addition offers a fresh layer of variety to the gameplay and music experience in Metal: Hellsinger.
Dream of the Beast enhances the game’s arsenal with the introduction of a new weapon and three powerful outfits, each equipped with special modifiers such as shields, healing, or increased max ammo. The new four-barrel machine gun, a fusion of heaven and hell, lets players eliminate demons using a variable burst pattern.
The Dream of the Beast DLC provides a wealth of new content and playstyles for both newcomers and experienced players to enjoy at any point in the game. The DLC is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox X|S for $3.99 / €3.99.
