In the most famous of Mixer’s talent acquisitions, massive exclusive contracts were given to Tyler “Ninja” Blevins’ and Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek which at the time were 2 of the top 3 streamers on Twitch. Mixer has since then announced its permanent shutdown to take place on July 22nd, 2020. Facebook Gaming will be teaming up with Mixer to accommodate their community offering them special benefits like maintaining Partnership through the transition amongst others.
It’s been reported Microsoft that both Tyler “Ninja” Blevins’ and Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek are free agents now. Ninja receiving his full payout of $30 million and Shroud $10 million which now allow them to sign with any platform they chose. Both content creators made statements via Twitter but have not committed to a platform yet.
I love my community and what we built together on Mixer. I have some decisions to make and will be thinking about you all as I make them.

Rod “Slasher” Breslau in a tweet today said Facebook offered double for Ninja and Shrouds original mixer contracts but management declined. Possibly looking to create a bidding war between what is now the remaining big 3 platforms YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook.
Sources: Facebook offered an insane offer at almost double for the original Mixer contracts of Ninja and Shroud but Loaded/Ninja/Shroud said no and forced Mixer to buy them out. Ninja made ~$30M from Mixer, and Shroud made ~$10M
Ninja and Shroud are now free agents

As for now, Ninja and Shrouds management has declined to make any public statements, but we expect to hear something very soon. Its been over 4 days since either creator has launched a live stream and money is being lost everyday day. What will happen to the rest of the Mixer partners?
