Omeda Studios is set to launch the Open Beta of Predecessor, their third-person MOBA, on March 28. The game will be accessible on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. This follows a highly successful Closed Beta phase, marking a significant step for the community-founded studio led by Robbie Singh. Predecessor, built upon the legacy of Epic Games’ discontinued Paragon, offers a fresh take on the MOBA genre with enhanced gameplay and graphics.
Game Features
Predecessor introduces a high-speed, action-packed MOBA experience that emphasizes strategic play, teamwork, and intense combat. Players choose from a roster of over 30 unique Heroes, engaging in battles to protect their base while striving to destroy the opponent’s stronghold. As matches progress, players can earn XP to level up abilities and collect gold to purchase items, enhancing their chances of victory.
The game stands out as the only MOBA developed using Unreal Engine 5, offering cutting-edge graphics and performance on both current and previous generation consoles. Its unique blend of MOBA tactics with third-person shooter/brawler mechanics provides a distinctive and immersive gameplay experience.
Cross-Play and Localization
Predecessor is designed with cross-play functionality, allowing players to team up with friends across different platforms.
