There is something you just love about sleek all-black gaming peripherals. Nice and clean with flush surfaces on every side with just the right touch of RGB. “You just love to see it”. ROCCAT recently released the Syn Pro Air Wireless gaming headset for PC and PlayStation 5 which fits the bill. It features some of the top-end technology passed on by parent company Turtle Beach like Superhuman Hearing, Memory foam ProSpecs padding, a TruSpeak mic, and 50mm drivers priced at $119.99.

What is a stealth bomber with a little dab of RGB? The Syn Pro Air Wireless Headset! I cannot express how much I love the look of this headset. It’s so sleek and compact, it’s perfect for any gaming or lifestyle situation. How sleek is it though? The detachable flip-to-mute mic has a rubber cap to put on it when the mic is off. Massive brain move by the engineers! This is definitely one of the lightest headsets I have ever worn at 390 grams. Comfort is not always in the cushion, if a headset is light enough you won’t even feel it on your head. The ProSpecs earpads and headband are made from an ultra-soft Breathable athletic fabric that is glasses friendly. It comes down to personal preference, but I do think a flat surface cushion is more comfortable on the ears. RGB fans do not fear the Syn Pro Air has a wonderful display on the bottom corner of each earpiece. Seriously mad props to the engineers on this product it has to be if not thee one of the best-looking headsets on the market right now.

You really get all the best of ROCCAT and Turtle Beach technology built into SYN Pro Air. It basically has everything the Stealth 700 has aside from Bluetooth technology and the Aerofit cooling gel-infused memory foam. What does this mean? The audio quality is POGGERS ladies and gents! 50mm drivers power the Superhuman hearing technology in a fully immersive 3D environment. This is what performance means. Hardcore FPS players will appreciate the level of 3D audio and how Superhuman hearing brings out the subtle sounds like footsteps and reloads. The wireless technology is phenomenal. I was able to walk all around the house and still maintain my Discord conversations. There is one major disappointment however, the SYN Pro Air is missing is Bluetooth technology. This headset makes drip look good; I want to rock these around town on my mobile devices. We can’t have it all though, right? Most importantly you do get 24 hours of battery life on a full charge and up to 5 hours off a 15-minute charge. This product is equipped with flagship performance technology.

In recent weeks ROCCAT rolled out a new customization software called NEON which will eventually replace Swarm. I like it! NEON is very impressive. You can adjust every aspect of technology onboard the SynPro Air including Superhuman hearing and 3D audio. You will also be able to adjust your AIMO or even create custom RGB lighting effects. What is most impressive is the Equalizer, you can adjust the high and low frequencies like a mixer of your sound output. ROCCAT went hard in the paint on this one good luck finding a better headset at $119.99.
